about me

I’m a freelance journalist, editor, sometime radio host and occasional DJ living in East London. I mainly write about electronic music and club culture for publications like the Guardian, Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, Mixmag, Crack, Bandcamp and The Face.

I’m also a co-founder of Clean Scene, a climate action group within the dance music community – find out more on our website and Instagram.

I used to host Top Flight on Red Bull Radio, a weekly show highlighting the best new club artists from around the world – you can listen to the archive on Mixcloud, which includes interviews with Kode9, RP Boo, Lotic and DJ Slugo.

Before I went freelance in 2017 I was a commissioning editor at FACT Magazine. Subediting and proofreading are also in my repertoire if you’re looking for someone who’s handy with a red pen.

I also hold a master’s degree from Goldsmith’s where my research interests orbited things like embodiment, technology, capital, networks and the ethics of the spectator.
